Charger the Squirrel

Saturday morning was another beautiful morning in Peoria, IL. Jacqie Lewis had watered the garden & Taylor was just finishing breakfast and was checking out the garden himself. Then from the neighbor's yard came Charger. Up and over the fence and across the lawn, heading straight for Taylor! It was hard to believe that this could be real since all other encounters with squirrels leave them darting for trees to get away from people. But it didn't take long to realize that this squirrel was different as he darted for Taylor each time he'd move. Taylor & Jacqie both ended up inside the patio door and grabbed these pictures as Charger hovered the door and even attempted to jump through it (yes, it's glass and he made a large thud, but was immediately back on his feet).
