What did Jacqie recieve for Mother's Day? A bird feeder of course! Isn't that what other mother's get? Maybe not, but it was much appreciated since she had mentioned in passing it would be fun to have. The perfect place was found in front of the front window for easy viewing of possible visitors. It was wondered how long it would take for birds to find the feeder and just which birds would actually visit.

Here is a picture of the feeder a mere 48 hours after it's first filling. Yes, no need to worry. In fact it was only a matter of a few hours before the first visitor was spotted. Since then word had spread quickly. It was a week later before the feeder was filled once again. This time it emptied in just over 24 hours. And even more visitors were spotted. A sample of some of the visitors (not all birds) shown in pictures below (apologies for the glare of the window, nearly inevitable):
House Finch - male (red top) & female
Morning Dove
Cardinals - male (red) & female
Chipmunk - commonly called ground squirrels here
Bunny
