Garden Update

Luckily with the recent huge storms coming through, the Lewis' garden (home and yard & trees as well) were fine. The strawberries have kept coming = chipmunks still kept out! Jacqie even made some freezer jam with the home grown berries! However with all the recent rain the berries are starting to rot, so there probably won't be too many more coming.

The raspberries are just starting to ripen though! (black rasp cluster pictured)

Lettuce was already used in a salad and there are more dinner salads planned!

The rain barrels arrived! Taylor's nearly done with the cosmetics for this one. Too bad the barrels came after the recent big storm - there was a lot of water to catch! But there is more rain forecast this week, so hopefully things will be ready!
